Homecoming -- Not Like That!

Friends,
I hope you all got my many invitations to homecoming weekend. I've put a lot of work into planning a spectacular weekend for you.

This year we're honoring graduates of our theater program. Did you know SPU has a highly rated theater program? If not, all the more reason to rediscover SPU this year at homecoming. I like to think I rediscover SPU everyday.

Did you see the picture of the Stage Door? I took that myself. I feel like it really captures the spirit of theater at SPU. There's a door! Get it? If not, I'll explain it in my convocation on homecoming weekend. You'll want to be sure not to miss it.

Scott and Pam are some of the best graduates we've ever had. They took that run down peep show house and gave it new life. And every once in a while you can see some nudity. They call it artistic expression, but we all know it's nudity. (Right, 6th Hill?)

Homecoming weekend is full of activities for all our alumni.
Do you remember going to classes at SPU? It's kind of a big deal. Besides the Orangemen and Gwinn food it's pretty much why we are here. Well you can re live the memories on Friday January 21 during Class Visitation Day! Normally we charge hundreds of dollars for this stuff, but now you get it at no cost to you! Except the money you already paid us.

Whose best memories of SPU don't include the bookstore? Well we wouldn't invite you back to SPU to not visit the book store! Of course not! The bookstore will be open for "Bookstore Browsing" 11am - 6pm. Don't you dare go in there any earlier or later. Or on a different day, because I got you the hook up!

Finally if you're a nerd who got involved in missions at SPU you can go to church and receive your honors/nostalgia while the rest of us are cheering on the basketball team. Losers! Tailgating never dies!
