Diversity ... of Ideas
Congratulations to Dr John West for carrying the banner of Diversity to the dimensions of ideas. Dr West is the SPU sergeant at arms for subverting science to promote creationism. Dr West can add another milestone to his alread legendary track record. This time he says that schools should be inclusive of all theories of how the world came to be. We need more diversity and more reconciliation, that is what SPU stands for. Too bad Dr West couldn't give SPU a shout out in the article. Let's see if SPU gives you a shout out come pay day.

I'm one of your biggest fans, President Eaton. Your blueprint for the future of SPU is a visionary work. I've watched, astounded, as you return from meeting after meeting with the top dogs of the Seattle business community, having once again worked some strange magic that brings blessings ... and some very good press indeed ... to our dear ol' SPU. Now, witnessing such a fantastic example of your negotiating style, I begin to understand how you do it. Today's ultimatum must have been quite a "discovery" for Dr. "Discovery" West. Next time I see you, the bag of chips is on me.
