while graduation was both long and hot, it certainly was not boring. this year spu has proven to its students and families once and for all just what a premier university it is. yes, this year graduation was life changingly powerful. spu really went all out. our speaker, needless to say, should not have been speaking at a small time school like spu because with his fame he could have been speaking anywhere. i'm just sad for princeton having to settle with john stewart or other ivy's settling for bill clinton or high ranking un officials because we stole the number one draft pick. thats right, our speaker hailed from first free methodist church, and has even been a part time lecturer at spu! damn thats hot! i don't know if i appreciate the degree more or the memory of being in the presence of greatness on that warm saturday afternoon. god bless spu.
You think that guy was bad - I can't even remember who spoke at my SPU graduation. I just remember being surprised that Eaton smiled at me on the podium.
